Dr. Work's Education and CareerDr. Work began his formal education at the University of Oregon, earning a Bachelor of Science. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1989 before joining the Navy and serving as a Naval dental officer for four years. In 1994, Dr. Work founded his own practice in Scottsdale, AZ. His continuing education includes periodontics and other specialized topics to ensure he can provide the most advanced care possible to his patients. Dr. Work continues to mentor at multiple institutes, is an ambassador of education for Instradent, and he lectures on implant placement and bone grafting techniques. Get to Know Dr. WorkThough Dr. Work resides in Scottsdale, he is originally a native of Grants Pass, OR. He is happily married to his wife, Mary Ann, and has two sons, Scott and Ted. Dr. Work has two cats, Jetta and Baldo.    When he isn't helping the patients of Scottsdale improve their oral health, he enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing and skiing, as well as playing his guitar.
