Popular Treatments That We Perform

Dental Implants

Dental Implants

If you are missing a tooth, implants may be the best option for restoring your smile. Titanium dental implants are surgically anchored into your jawbone to replace the roots of extracted or missing teeth. They can provide a lifetime of secure support to restorations like crowns, bridges, or dentures.

Smiling woman

Full Mouth Reconstruction

For patients struggling with several oral health issues at the same time, we provide personalized full mouth reconstructions. These treatment plans can combine multiple general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry procedures to comprehensively repair your smile.

Woman holding invisalign

Invisalign®

Crooked teeth can be embarrassing and uncomfortable, but traditional metallic braces can be even more so. Our cosmetic dentists can provide clear plastic Invisalign aligners to patients wishing to discreetly and comfortably correct their misaligned teeth.

Special needs child

Special Needs Dentistry

For patients with special needs and for the caretakers or family of those patients, trips to the dentist can be stressful. We pride ourselves on treating all our special needs patients with respect, compassion, and patience.

Lady with oral sedation

Sedation Dentistry

For anxious patients, we provide multiple sedation options that allow them to relax and feel virtually no discomfort during a surgical procedure. We offer professionally administered, safe options such as nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV anesthesia.

Man with hurting teeth

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Most people eventually require the removal of at least one wisdom tooth. Wisdom teeth often cause discomfort and misalignment of the other teeth, especially if they are impacted. We gently and expertly remove wisdom teeth at our Scottsdale office.

Veneers

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin, but strong tooth-colored shells that our dentists can attach to the front of cosmetically imperfect teeth. Veneers can address chipped, cracked, discolored, and crooked teeth, and last for many years with proper care.

Dr. Terry Work was recently interviewed for a news segment about the dangers of improperly placed dental implants. As a consultant for the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners, Dr. Work helps investigate concerns related to implants. As with any other medical or dental procedure, successful implant placement depends on the skill of the professional, the health of the patient, and many other factors.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I visit the dentist?

Our practice recommends visiting the dentist at least twice a year. This allows our doctors to monitor your oral health and identify minor issues before they develop into bigger problems. Waiting until a dental problem has presented symptoms often leads to more expensive and invasive treatments. Save yourself time, money, and discomfort with regular checkups at Dental Works, serving Greater Phoenix.

Is flossing less important than brushing?

Absolutely not! When you only brush, you allow plaque to build up below the gum line and in between teeth. This plaque hardens into tartar, which eventually leads to tooth decay and gum disease. Flossing at least once a day keeps plaque out of hard-to-reach areas and helps minimize your risk of oral health issues.

What type of brush should I be using?

Although you may think that a hard-bristled brush would do a better job of getting rid of plaque, we strongly recommend soft-bristled brushes. That's because hard-bristled brushes can actually damage your enamel and harm the gum tissue.

Why should I take my family to Dental Works?

Because if you are looking for a caring, qualified dentist serving the Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ, areas, our comprehensive practice has what you need. From your first contact with our compassionate office staff, you will notice that Dental Works is not your typical dental practice. We've worked hard to build an exceptional team of dedicated, caring, and experienced professionals committed to providing you and your family with the best possible oral health. Our office also offers competitive prices with financing options to make out-of-pocket costs a comfortable fit for your budget.
